About: We enjoy cruising and traveling around the country in our motorhome. We are both retired. Jack is involved with the Civil Air Patrol and a group of retired law enforcement personnel. I sew custom pillowcases for at risk children. I enjoy reading and the beach. I'm also a garage sale junkie. Jack likes to build models. This is by far the longest cruise we have taken. We are hoping not to kill each other! This will be our second cruise on the Splendor. On our first Splendor cruise there was a fire in the engine room and the ship lost all power and we drifted in the ocean for 4 days until we were towed to San Diego. No coffee, no showers. We had an inside cabin which was completely dark. It took a little arm twisting to get Jack to agree to go on this cruise. Can't wait to get aboard and meet new people.

About: We retired from our jobs in Albuqueurque to our weekend getaway mountain cabin and have built an addition to the log cabin over the last several years, but it's an ongoing building project. We live in a rural area 90 minutes north of Albuquerque, 4 miles off the paved road in a community that was an old homestead at 8700 feet. We keep very busy with a volunteer fire department responding to wildland fire, structure fire, search and rescue and especially medical calls. Richard enjoys classical music; we RV with a 5th wheel and have recently discoved we love kayaking; Maureen enjoy's history; of course we both love cruising. "It's hard to have a bad day on a cruise ship!" is Maureen's motto so we overlook the small stuff and go with the flow. Every day is a gift!
