Meet your Cruise Buddies!

2014-04-27 - Princess - Royal

Welcome to your sailing! The list of your fellow cruisers is below.

You can post to tell others that the URL is: https://is.gd/crfels

You should read INNOCENTS ABROAD because it's the best travel book ever:
  • it's all about cruising.
  • it's about the very first cruise out of America
  • it's hilarious.
  • it's amazing how much it sounds like a modern-day cruise.
  • it's still a great travel guide and one of the most popular travel books.
  • the illustrations are great (you want all the illustrations!), and this is the only fully illustrated edition.
  • this edition is specially expanded for cruisers, with extended information about the cruise ship and photos.

You'll love it. Here's how to get it:

Number of cruises: 22-24 This will be 13th Princess Cruise (Elite for 6 years)
Email: [click to send email]
About: I'm cruising with good neighbour Judy. We did 14nt Diamond to New Zealand in February 2013. I've cruised Solo, with family, friends and quad shared in days gone by!
Also travelled the world in every mode of transport and style - rough plus 5 star+!
I've 'flown solo' for many years - happens when good looking husband has a wandering eye!
Very proud mother of 3 wonderful children, 6 amazing grandchildren and 3 adorable greats! Some in Australia and others in NZ - I visit regularly.
In a past life I was Air NZ Hostess, Secretary to Air NZ Manager, Real Estate Sales Manager.
I've lived in Hervey Bay 30 years, much of that time as an International Travel Consultant. Also assisted at the birth of 4 grandchildren plus helped for 2 months. Many emergency trips across the Tasman to care for elderly parents.
I've been happily retired a number of years, however do Volunteer Administration work for Marine Rescue.
Unfortunately that doesn't finance cruises - it SAVES LIVES!

I've loved cruising since I took one in my 20's but Carol says I'm taking time away from her painting.
We'll fly into Miami on the 27th, it's only a 2 hr flight. After we dock in Copenhagen we'll fly to Amsterdam for a 2 week river cruise ending in Budapest. As easy as the flight to Miami will be the one going home to Raleigh on May 28 is a different story.
Budapest to Helsinki
Helsinki to London staying overnight
London to Raleigh
Now that American is merging w/United I'll check to see if I can get a better flight.

About: Jim retired from American Airlines after 44 years. I never officially retired. The company I worked at for 27 1/2 years closed, so I was unemployed for about 4 years until I found a part-time job about 2 1/2 years ago. Our airline travel benefits have allowed us to travel the world and we have learned to be flexible travelers because we fly stand-by.
Our friends invited us to join them on what turned out to be only the beginning, that was our first cruise in 2005 on the "Final Voyage" of the original Royal Princess - Rome to London - 14 days with 12 ports of call. Needless to say, we were very busy and needed a vacation after our vacation, but we were hooked on cruising with Princess. Since that first voyage we have done Venice to Rome, Mexican Rivera, TA Beijing to Anchorage, California Coastal, Western Caribbean and the Inside Passage last summer. So we are currently Platinum and looking forward to becoming Elite soon.
Since his retirement, Jim has been able to enjoy his love for books and has started up his target/range shooting hobby? I am a Jazzerciser since September 1980. I just can't stop, and go 5 to 7 mornings a week. So you will find me walking the deck with my friends and definitely at the Zumba classes.
