We did 14nt Diamond to New Zealand in February 2013. I've cruised Solo, with family, friends and quad shared in days gone by! Also travelled the world in every mode of transport and style - rough plus 5 star+! I've 'flown solo' for many years - happens when good looking husband has a wandering eye! Very proud mother of 3 wonderful children, 6 amazing grandchildren and 3 adorable greats! Some in Australia and others in NZ - I visit regularly. In a past life I was Air NZ Hostess, Secretary to Air NZ Manager, Real Estate Sales Manager. I've lived in Hervey Bay 30 years, much of that time as an International Travel Consultant. Also assisted at the birth of 4 grandchildren plus helped for 2 months. Many emergency trips across the Tasman to care for elderly parents. I've been happily retired a number of years, however do Volunteer Administration work for Marine Rescue. Unfortunately that doesn't finance cruises - it SAVES LIVES! |

Our airline travel benefits have allowed us to travel the world and we have learned to be flexible travelers because we fly stand-by. Our friends invited us to join them on what turned out to be only the beginning, that was our first cruise in 2005 on the "Final Voyage" of the original Royal Princess - Rome to London - 14 days with 12 ports of call. Needless to say, we were very busy and needed a vacation after our vacation, but we were hooked on cruising with Princess. Since that first voyage we have done Venice to Rome, Mexican Rivera, TA Beijing to Anchorage, California Coastal, Western Caribbean and the Inside Passage last summer. So we are currently Platinum and looking forward to becoming Elite soon. Since his retirement, Jim has been able to enjoy his love for books and has started up his target/range shooting hobby? I am a Jazzerciser since September 1980. I just can't stop, and go 5 to 7 mornings a week. So you will find me walking the deck with my friends and definitely at the Zumba classes. |
