About: We are both retired teachers, Glynn from high school building construction and architectural drafting, Alma from elementary JK-6 with a focus on Special Education.
Most winters, we escape from the frigid climate of Ontario and spend several months in sunny Florida.
Our main interests now include: Family time with 3 kids and 7 (so far) grandkids.
Travelling and exploring. Oceans, lakes, rivers...bodies of water for boating, swimming, fishing, viewing.
Walking and hiking.
Cottaging at our Muskoka cabin...now in the summer only...we are over snowmobiling (at least one of us is!) ATVing (just as much fun and warmer!).
Music and dancing.
Enjoying retirement!

We retired to the warmth of Queensland in 2002 having lived in Canberra for 28 years.

About: Shari was born in Iowa and grew up in Colorado. She is retired from Coldwell Banker where she handled the accounting for the Dallas-Fort Worth division. She likes painting, sewing, reading, grandchildren, cats, travel and interior decorating but not necessarily in that order. Bill grew up around Chicago, Illinois and is a retired pipefitter. His interests include landscaping, travel, swimming, grandchildren, social networking, spoiling Shari and much more. We have two cats, Sophie, a Siamese and Emma, a black mixed breed.

About: Jerry is retired (Cameron) and I am still working (Technip Engineering) but plan on retiring in Dec. We met at NE High School in Okla. City but have lived in the Houston area since 1969. Our son and his wife live in Phoenix and our daughter, her husband and our 2 grandkids live about 1 minute from us. We spend our time at high school football games and volleyball games (grandkids). I spend a lot of time at the nursing home with my 93 year old mother.

About: We both currently work for the Australian Government after having run our own business for more than 20 years. We enjoy travelling and have seen most of South East Asia as well as a fair chunk of Australia. We tend to travel independently rather than join organised tours. When at home our two golden cocker spaniels keep us amused and we spend a lot of time with my large family.

He is an avid runner, weight lifter and cardio junkie, a few races he has run are Pikes Peak marathon a few times, a race in Puerto Vallarta, several 50 mile marathons, a few trail run marathons, the Rock and Roll marathon and the houston marathon 21 times and several others. About: We retired about 25 years ago and moved from So. California to Oregon. We moved to Minden (near Carson City) in Nevada in July 2013 to be closer to our daughter and her husband, who own a home in Lake Tahoe.
We raised, showed, and (Linda) judged Pygmy Goats for 20+ years. Over the years we've also shown Arabian horses, Boston Terriers, Doberman Pinchers, Great Danes, and our current Pug who's name is Paris.
We love cruising and traveling to other countries.
