Meet your Cruise Buddies!

2014-04-06 - Carnival - Sunshine

Welcome to your sailing! The list of your fellow cruisers is below.

You can post to tell others that the URL is: https://is.gd/crfels

You should read INNOCENTS ABROAD because it's the best travel book ever:
  • it's all about cruising.
  • it's about the very first cruise out of America
  • it's hilarious.
  • it's amazing how much it sounds like a modern-day cruise.
  • it's still a great travel guide and one of the most popular travel books.
  • the illustrations are great (you want all the illustrations!), and this is the only fully illustrated edition.
  • this edition is specially expanded for cruisers, with extended information about the cruise ship and photos.

You'll love it. Here's how to get it:

About: We started cruising in 2009 and fell in love with it. Our first cruise without the kids was May 2013 and found out real quick it was a wonderful thing to do for the 2 of us.
Bruce is a Plumber and I am a retired school bus driver. We love cruising and the mountains.
We have together 6 children ages 37,29,28,22,15,4.
We also have 4 fur babies 3 Chi's and a cat. To go with all them we have 8 amazing little grandchildren that we enjoy. One of our bucket list items is to go on an Alaska cruise.
On our May 2013 cruise we met Deborah and David, wonderful people and now friends from the cruising world.
So excited to meet so many new people. See y'all soon.

About: We've been friends for many years but usually only manage to see each other every three or four years. We did a Med cruise together on The Sunshine in September. We visited 10 ports in 12 days. Almost all excursions were full day trips so we did not have much time to enjoy The Sunshine. We decided to book this cruise out of New Orleans so we'd have a bunch of sea days to enjoy the ship. We'd like to make a habit of yearly cruise trips. :-)

About: I am taking my first solo cruise, I have always cruised with my husband or friends. None could join me this trip so I am trying something new. Very nervous about it. I have been married for 27 years and have 3 grown and almost grown boys. One is in his Sophomore year of Pharmacy school at Auburn University, one still trying to find his path in life and a 17 year old.
I love traveling and seeing the world. I am a water baby and love the ocean and feel at most peace when I am on it. I like to do puzzles and paint. I have worked for 10 years as a substitute teacher at a Jr High School and love working with pre teens.
I am looking so forward to this cruise and would love to meet some new friends.
